Class Requirements: Please note that these are only guidelines for class placement. It is up to the discretion of each teacher to make proper appointment of each student into the proper classes. Please do not compare your child with other students; each student matures and advances at different levels; no more and no less will be expected from him/her.
Class structure: is specifically designed by each instructor to prepare the student with the appropriate level syllabus, to include warm ups, center combinations and choreography. It is imperative that the student arrives on time to participate in the warm-up section of class so no injury occurs. If a student is more than 10 minutes late, he/she will be asked to observe the class, rather than participate. It is also important for the child to be picked up on time, as other classes are taking place and a baby-sitting service is not provided.
Attendance Policy: Students are expected to attend all of their scheduled classes, however, we understand that situations arise that make it necessary for students to miss their classes. If a student misses a class, they may schedule a make-up class with their teacher. No student may drop in for a class without prior arrangements. No make up classes are allowed during Parent Weeks or Rehearsal Weeks.
Information Changes: Please inform us of any address, phone or emergency contact changes when they occur so that we have updated information at all times.
CLASS OBSERVATION: NO visitors are allowed inside the dance room during class time. In order to create a focused environment, we limit the amount of distractions to our dancers. During the dance year, EOM will have parent’s week(s), which is a perfect timeto view your child’s progress. Check calendar for dates. We also ask that you stand away from the door. Please note that all students can feel additional pressure when there are viewers during class time.
PHONE : The faculty of EOM do not accept business calls at their private home numbers. If you need to contact us regarding studio business, please call or email the studio.
